The Xerox Corporate Golf challenge visits the Els Club

This coming weekend, on Saturday November 1st, the 7th qualifier of The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge 2008 will be played for the first time ever at The Els Club in Dubai Sports City.

This will be the last qualifier held in the UAE before the final in December.

The Troon managed golf course will see local companies participating in the event that among other represent Rais Al Hassan, Al Saeedi, Tatweer & Abu Dhabi Aviation.

Ayman Mattar, Regional Marketing Manager for Xerox Middle East, comments:
"We are excited about the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge arriving at The Els Club. I know that it will be the first time playing for some of our participants and I'm glad that Xerox can be part of supplying a first class golf experience."


A total of six qualifiers has been played so far in the 11th Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge.

The winners will move on to the final at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in December, where the overall winners will play in the 2009 Abu Dhabi Golf Championship Pro-Am, of which Xerox is a proud sponsor.

This remaining Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge qualifiers will be held as follows:
8: 6th December ~ Riffa GC, Bahrain
Grand Final: 13th December ~ Abu Dhabi Golf Club

The event's sponsors are second to none: HSBC, the world's local bank, & Dell, the world's leading computer systems company, continue as the main sponsors.

Troon Golf manages the Challenge for a fifth consecutive year. Other sponsors include Crystal Gallery, Ecco & Renaissance Dubai Hotel.
