Oil drives 47.2% revenue jump in Oman

According to the monthly statistical bulletin issued by the ministry of national economy, a 68% jump in oil revenue has lifted the Oman government's revenue by 47.2% to OR5.78bn (Dhs55.32bn) during the first eight months of 2008. This is an increase of OR3.93bn compared to the same period in 2007.
