Omantel provides Al Waafa Social Center with financial support

Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) continues its social responsibilities of serving and development the society and hand over the financial donation to Al Waafa Social Center in the Sultanate.
The Deputy of Sohar Wali appreciated with gratitude Oman Telecommunications Company for its generous support and appealed all institutions in the Sultanate to develop the society and cater to their needs.
The Deputy of Sohar Wali pointed out Al Waafa Social Center serves 180 children with different disabilities and 30 instructors serve and train the children. The Center requires such initiatives which provided by Omantel, such as expanding the center's building and also provide them with basic requirements to help the center to fulfill its role and create stable sources of income through investments.
Al Harthi said that a number of institutions in the Sultanate provide support time to time, especially those work in Sohar port. He also added that he National committee of the center periodically arrange meetings and gatherings to define the role of serving categories that deserved care and attention continuously.
Ali bin Rashid Al Matani, Manager of Social Responsibilities at Omantel confirmed that this donation is a part of the company's social responsibilities of serving the society and support the institutions that provide great services to segment of the society that deserve care and attention from active companies and institutions in the Sultanate.
Ali Al Matani added that Oman Telecommunications Company's social responsibilities aim to serve the society as it is an integral part of the society, especially it plays vital and effective role of serving large number people with disabilities, which is a part of social responsibilities and its role.
