About The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS):
The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) is a Jordanian non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2005 by her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The organization aims to enhance the overall wellbeing of the local community by raising health awareness and empowering Jordanians to embrace healthy lifestyles and behaviors. RHAS initiates and supports community-based health and safety interventions in partnership with public, private and civil society institutions.

About The Jordan Health Communication Partnership Program (JHCP):
JHCP is a Jordanian 8 year program - funded by the United States for International Development (USAID) with technical assistance from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/Center for Communication Programs (JHU/CCP). It is grounded in the basic principle that healthy living relies on healthy behavior which in turn depends on the attainment of knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle, a status knows as 'health competence'. This concept highlights the significant role that communication can play in raising the public's health competence and consequently improving their health.
