The 28th edition of Gitex, the Middle East's Premier Information Technology and Communications exhibition, took place on 19-23 October 2008 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) with thousands of companies looking to generate new business opportunities in one of the fastest growing IT industries in the world, with more than 3,300 companies from 83 countries welcoming 130,000 trade visitors.

BHI participated in Gitex Dubai 2008 by displaying wide range of products attracting Business Partners from all across the GCC Countries. BHI displayed Time America Industries UK, High-tech Time Attendance and Security Access Control Solution as well as new portable terminal for construction companies. This new Portable terminal that comes with a built-in battery lasting up to 3 days can centrally monitor employee attendance data on construction sites that does not have power and data communication facility for HR and Administration use.

In Gitex 2008, BHI intended to expand Harmony Integrated Software for Access Control, Time Attendance and CCTV with SQL Database. Harmony is having unique and high-tech feature of building management as well.

As part of BHI activities at Gitex 2008, there were on display the products of DRS (Data Services Limited), UK base company core business is large volume sophisticated data capture software, high speed scanner which scan 10,000 pages double side in 1 hour, time critical projects such as examination processing, elections, population census and financial document processing etc. Complete solutions are implemented using the Company's extensive expertise in document design, printing, forms scanning, software, logistics, project management and consultancy.
