Qatar Foundation has announced partnerships with two of the UK's top universities in pursuit of its mission to become the Middle East's hub of education and research. With help from Imperial College London, a centre for robotic surgery will be established at the recently opened Qatar Science & Technology Park. The Foundation has also endowed a chair of Islamic Studies at the University of Oxford.
