Tanmiyat appoints Cyrus Hung as new Corporate Strategy Manager

Prior to his appointment as Corporate Strategy Manager of Tanmiyat, Mr. Hung was employed as Strategic Planning Manager at the Dubai office of Al Fahim Holdings, where he led several of the company's divisions. Al Fahim Holdings is a well known firm with a diversified business portfolio in luxury retail, distribution, real estates and publishing across the Middle East region.

Mr. Hung's duties in this position included financial modelling; business unit performance analysis; capital management; project valuation and assessment; financial risk management; market analysis; product portfolio analysis; market mapping analysis; business process review; new potential market identification and entry strategy; overseeing partnership, M&A projects and other joint venture opportunities; developing new marketing and sales channel strategies

Before working at Al Fahim Holdings, Mr. Hung was responsible for Corporate Strategy and Development for Gunto Inc., Hong Kong - a business conglomerate specializing in introducing and developing new business concepts of retail, young fashion, trading and lifestyle in the Asia Pacific region, a position that he held from 2003 on.

His duties included developing, implementing and evaluating strategic business and budget plans and modelling for the company's subsidiaries; refining and implementing management systems, administrative policies, and operational procedures; identifying and investigating potential new markets and researching the feasibility of creative ideas for new business concepts; and liaising with external business partners to support and develop the launch and implementation of strategic initiatives.

Between 2000, when he was first employed by Gunto Inc., and his appointment to the Corporate Strategy and Development office in 2003, Mr. Hung worked as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Gunto Inc. Mr. Hung received his BA from Lingnan University in Hong Kong.
