The works in the area have already started around local community schools with improvements on the streets, sidewalks, as well as the implementation of a community park.
The Land's donation will also go towards major road and traffic improvements in the Kingdom with the focus on Zarqa Area.
This partnership is the first of its kind as a joint venture takes place between the private and public sector, The Land with Greater Amman Municipality in cooperation with Hikmat Road Safety, and caters to 30,000 resident in the community.
"I'm looking forward to seeing the children's faces once all the improvements and work in the area is done, I'm especially keen to see the garden where school children can play safely."said Mr. Basel Saeed, General Manager of The Land.
"This enterprise is a proud project for The Land, who has always believed in community service and responsibility, and are strong supporters of initiatives of this kind."
Mr Issam Shahzada, Greater Amman Municipality & volunteer at Hikmat Road Safety added, "The improvements have already started in Al Zuhur area and is expected to finish in mid November, where we'll be inviting all the children of the area to enjoy and take part and ownership in their new garden and safe streets".
