OneCard's participation is part of its commitment to create synergies with low-cost airline industry players and help unlock new growth prospects while boosting client satisfaction.

The Low-Cost Airlines Conference seeks to discover winning strategies and create an access to the latest innovations and successful best practices in the MENA's low-cost airline industry, particularly in view of the growing role being played by low-cost carriers in increasing regional air traffic. The event will likewise discuss emerging trends and issues, including the growing number of migrating passengers from legacy carriers, while identifying ways to enhance the delivery of services through innovative platforms such as OneCard's payment solution.

Muhannad Ebwini, General Manager of OneCard, said:
"The low-cost aviation industry has been gaining momentum over the years and has definitely been a key contributor to the ongoing trend of growing regional air traffic. Obviously, the key point that has made it so popular is that it is a highly affordable means of travelling. OneCard seeks to contribute even further in providing a more satisfying experience for travellers and subsequently stronger margins for low-cost carrier operators by offering an efficient, convenient, secure and cost-effective payment solution."

OneCard has implemented a strategy to increase its share of the aviation market by tapping into one of the fastest growing segments, utilising the conference as an ideal platform to create new partnerships with the leading and emerging low-cost airlines in the region. The strength of the low-cost carrier industry has been affirmed when a number of legacy carriers unveiled plans to launch their own low-cost subsidiaries, creating new dynamics in the regional market.

OneCard has been developed and supported by National Technology Group (NTG), the Middle East's largest ICT company with its businesses spanning the MENA region, South East Asia, South Asia and the USA.
