On this occasion, Mr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed Turki, Retail Banking General Manager said:
"This move is part of the Bank's policy aimed at serving its customers and to meet their demand for making available ATMs at these two shopping malls."
Turki added: "The new ATMs now operating in the two malls are considered as some of the latest and most technologically advanced systems in the banking market as they offer customers better banking services and options making customers' lives easier. It allows them to have the facilities of making withdrawals, depositing cash funds and cheques, transferring money between accounts in addition to having better security features for the safety of customers and their funds, hence preventing any attempts at fraud or obtaining clients' data."
In his remarks, the Retail General Manager said: "We look forward to installing and operating a number of new ATMs in various markets and shopping malls in the Kingdom as part of our preparations to meet customers' requirements and to provide all the banking services they need."
Bahrain Islamic Bank operates a network of 24 ATMs throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of its services to its customers.
