Malaysia's Basis Bay launches Green Data Centre & other related services

As such, the company is proud to launch its "Green" Data Centre located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, a strategically developed "IT City" that provides proven international standards in infrastructure and telecommunications.

The Data Centre complex of 70,000 sqft, provides Co-Location Services, Hosting Services, Disaster Recovery Services, Service Operation Centre (SOC), Network Operation Centre (NOC) and Managed Services. In addition, the Data Centre is Tier IV enable with features amongst others fully redundant components, 36 inches raised floor, 156 pounds floor loading per sqft and 150+ ultimate watts per sqft. Basis Bay also has the expertise in building and construction of Data Centres that would meet their business requirement and financial considerations.

Besides the environmental approach on Data Centres, Basis Bay's international trading of refurbished/pre-owned hardware equipment also creates the awareness to recycle these equipment, in turn reduces the carbon footprint in the environment.
