Given the potential of Saudi Arabia's enormous market and its level of growth, the 2008 SWPF will focus on change, innovation and sustainable development and emphasise how the water and power industry can take the appropriate steps towards a more successful and sustainable future.
With an estimated $200bn due to be invested into Saudi Arabia over the next 20 years, the KSA remains one of the largest power and water markets in the world.
By participating in the SWPF, UAE businesses like Ducab who are rapidly expanding in the GCC have the opportunity to showcase their products and services and to meet and interact with key decision makers, buyers and customers.
Commenting on Ducab's participation in SWPF 2008, Ducab's MD Mr. Andrew Shaw said:
"As one of the leading cable companies in the UAE we are excited at the prospect of expanding further into the KSA market and are looking forward to forming new partnerships at the forum. By offering quality products that supersede the expectations of our clients we are confident that we can play a key role in helping the KSA meet its enormous investment requirements over the next 20 years."
"In order to make the successful transition from a local UAE cable manufacturer to a trusted regional supplier in the KSA, comprehensive insight into the trends that are shaping this vast country are a must," added Chew Wah Tan, GM Sales and Marketing.
