Opennet invites reseller partners to MENA leg of Red Hat Virtualisation tour

Opennet Middle East & Africa (MEA), the master distributor and authorised certified training centre of Red Hat Linux products for GCC, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia, announced the Middle East and North Africa leg of Red Hat's Virtualisation tour.

The EMEA wide tour will start in Casablanca (Morocco) on 12 November 2008 and visit Cairo (Egypt) on 17 November, Dubai (UAE) on 20 November and Riyadh (KSA) on 17 December 2008.

The seminars will span two consecutive half-day sessions. The first session is focused on the business benefits of Red Hat's virtualization solution while the second focuses on the technical advantages of the solution, featuring live demonstrations.

David Allinson, General Manager for Opennet MEA, said:
"Virtualization technology delivers a quantum step in IT operational flexibility, speed of deployment, and application performance and availability. As it becomes one of the main drivers in the IT market, it is important to share some of the key tools and options that Red Hat offers in this space."


The sessions will focus on the benefits of Red Hat's 'Advanced Platform', a competitive analysis with Xen Enterprise, VMWare, Hyper-V, and Citrix, and Virtual Data Center Management.
