During the inauguration, Princess Haya toured the center and its facilities that included refractive (vision connection) clinic, pediatric eye clinic, corneal surgery clinic, and retina and Uveitis clinic.
She also visited the Ultra-LASIK department that provides the latest technology for effectively treating patients suffering from short sight, long sight, or astigmatism.
Her Royal Highness also attended a demonstration of Hi-tech equipment used for treating corneal opacities, which offers hope for patients blinded by corneal diseases.
As recognition for Princess Haya's visit to the Center, Dr. Khaled Sharif Chairman and Medical Director of the SEC medical group announced that as a strong supporter of "Noor Dubai" the SEC will perform Hundred corneal transplants and other corneal laser surgeries free of charge to blind patients from the Noor Dubai campaign over the next few months saying that
"the SEC is proud to be part of this charitable initiative that was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to help one million people regain the gift of sight worldwide."
Dr. Sharif said,
"the group has an excellent treatment record for more than fifty thousand patients from various parts of the Middle east, as we believe in selecting the best technology and combining it with professional expertise to achieve the highest standards in eye care excellence."

She added that
