  • PRESS RELEASE

Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD) has recently held a meeting with representatives of tourist companies operating in Dubai.

DNRD hosted more than 53 managers from various tourist companies to answer their questions and enquires about electronic services provided by the Department.

During the meeting, representatives of tourist companies were introduced to DNRD's sophisticated online system which enables applicants submit visa requests, process them and pay the required fees without visiting any of DNRD's offices. DNRD will be ready very soon to host training workshops to explain the steps of using the portal which will subsequently facilitate tourist companies' transactions.

On this occasion, Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Marri, Director of DNRD, commented:
"We at DNRD are continuously looking for innovative solutions to offer the best service to our customers. We are also encouraging them to use the electronic services available at DNRD to save their time and commuting efforts."

DNRD initiates meetings with tourist companies' representatives on regular basis to get their feedback about the services offered. The next meeting will be held next January 2009.
