"The local news service that Zajil Press launched early this year proved to be very popular with thousands of people of all ages subscribing," he explained.
News services include Local News covering local, economic, parliamentary, and sports news that can be subscribed in Arabic by sending 1 to 440011 or in English by sending 2 to 440011.
They also include Economic and Business News that covers all local economic news, news of all companies and banks in Bahrain, as well as Bahrain Stock Exchange.
Customers may subscribe to this service by sending 3 to 440011.
The new spectrum of services includes Sports News that covers all local and international sports.
Participation of national teams in local, regional and international championships will also be featured, as well as the results from a wide range of championships.
Customers may subscribe to this service by sending 4 to 440011.
Parliamentary news is also included in the new line up.
This service communicates all news related to activities of the legislative authority in both its chambers.
It also offers live broadcast of the parliamentary sessions and news of all committees in the parliament.
Customers may subscribe to this service by sending 5 to 440011.
The Daily Events service communicates daily news messages on all daily social, political, economic, sports and cultural events held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The message includes name, time and venue of the event.
Customers may subscribe to this service by sending 6 to 440011.
The subscription fee for each service is 20 fils per message, which is a maximum of BD3 a month.
Additionally, all customers will enjoy the services free of charge for a week following subscription.
