"We understand the need to provide the national workforce with every possibility to enter and succeed in this industry. As such we have developed every opportunity available to us to ensure that we can offer career opportunities to Bahrainis who wish to take up a profession in mechanical engineering", said John Murray, General Manager of MJS.

MJS are very supportive of the government's efforts to involve more Bahrainis into the workforce and have created as many opportunities as possible for youngsters to learn about mechanical engineering as a career choice. These efforts have led to a greater amount of interest within the mechanical profession and because of this, MJS has been able to nurture a number of new recruits in the mechanical workshop.

At the same time the company has worked to integrate Bahrainis into other departments within the company including the sales force, the service and spare parts division and the office administration.

The automotive division of Mohammed Jalal and Sons was established in 1964 and holds the franchise for Jaguar, Peugeot, Suzuki and Subaru. The company has a full service department and body shop for all brands of vehicles and a comprehensive spare parts division located in Al Khamis.
