Majda Al Hinai, Honda Sales Executive agrees:
'I think the fantastic reviews that the New Jazz 2009 has had in the international press have played a part in the level of enquiries we're getting and I know some people have come in to ask about the Jazz because they've read a review of it on the internet or they've checked it out on the Honda website. The people the Jazz appeals to are very switched on but I have to say that word of mouth plays a big part in how news gets around - we're an international community and word travels fast. A lot of the buzz seems to have been generated by personal recommendations from friends and family overseas.'
The National Sales Manager points out that the growth of city life in Oman is playing its part in the demand for the Jazz.
'I agree that increasingly people check cars out on the internet before they buy and I'm sure that's partly responsible for driving the advance interest in the Jazz. However, I think it's also fair to say that as Oman has become a more urban society the demand for compact vehicles has increased. People want something that's easy to get around town with and economical on fuel. Clearly the Jazz scores in both these categories but what makes it a real winner is its ingenious design - it's actually exceptionally spacious and of course its performance is outstanding.'
Turner goes on to say: 'Naturally, all this is underpinned by Honda's commitment not just to quality but also to safety. We know that it's always at the front of our customer's minds and so the New Jazz 2009 comes equipped with a full suite of top class safety features including front, front side and side curtain airbags, anti-lock braking system and vehicle stability assist. It's no wonder the Jazz has won more than 30 awards - it's a real world-beater.'
