A not-for-profit organization, the IIC promotes awareness and understanding of Information Integrity - particularly in terms of the accuracy, consistency and reliability of the information content, processes and systems.
The EII Awards have been presented to organizations across the world since 1995, to recognise their efforts towards providing accurate, consistent and reliable information to customers, suppliers and partners.
The EII Awards are open to any organization that has made demonstrable progress towards achieving Information Integrity, whether through a single project or an enterprise-wide effort. In 2008, the Awards recognized two categories of organization: For-Profit and Non-Profit. Three awards were presented in each category, namely Gold, Silver and Bronze.
DUBAL's award-winning application in the "For-Profit" category was based on the information integrity enhancements achieved through the implementation of SAP.
Accepting the award on behalf of DUBAL, Ahmed Hassan (Senior Manager Enterprise Systems) said,
"Winning international accolades highlights the commitment and dedication of the professionals working at DUBAL under the visionary guidance of our President & CEO, Abdulla Kalban, and the inspiration of our Vice President of IT, Ahmad Al Mulla. The systems developed over the past few years have given us the leverage to benefit from current technological advancements. This is not the end, but rather the beginning of a journey that will unfold many other initiatives during years to come."
