The one-day event will allow Emirati men and women candidates to interact with Enoc officials and explore career opportunities available in various departments within the Group.

The initiative is part of Enoc's ongoing efforts to identify promising talent and skills among UAE nationals and develop such competencies into exceptional careers. Enoc aims to boost Emiratisation and support social empowerment through several recruitment campaigns, organised regularly.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, Enoc Group Chief Executive, said,
"Enoc believes in providing sustainable career opportunities for all UAE Nationals. As a Dubai Government-owned company, it is our duty and part of our corporate social responsibilities to ensure that young Emirati men and women are fully able to contribute towards nation building."

In line with the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, Enoc believes that it plays a major role in building local talent by hiring fresh candidates and developing them to reach higher management levels within the organisation.

The company provides its UAE national employees with unique opportunities to advance their careers in a highly competitive and proficiency-based environment. All new recruits, from fresh candidates to senior managers, are offered specially-structured and individually-customisable training and development programmes.

The group also provides a two-year Graduate Development Programme for fresh UAE graduates intended to develop the competencies needed for the job assigned to them. National employees in the Group are also encouraged to update and improve their skills through training and mentorship.

"An increasing number of Emirati university graduates are looking for career opportunities in high-value sectors of the national economy. We are confident that the Open Day will be beneficial for those nationals, as well as for the country and ENOC," said Eisa Al Sarkal, Enoc Group HR Manager.

The National Human Resource Development & Employment Authority (Tanmia) and Emirates Nationals Development Programme (ENDP) also showed their support to the initiative by disseminating information on the event to their databases of UAE job seekers.

The Enoc recruitment Open Day will be held on November 8, 2008 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Movenpick Hotel in Dubai. Candidates will have to bring their resume along with two photos and a copy of their passports.
