The facility, which is opening in phases at the iconic Bahrain City Centre shopping mall, will be fully operational in December.

It has now opened a total area of 3,774 square metres for its visitors.

Magic Planet is an indoor amusement park, featuring several international award-winning rides and games that promise edge-of-the-seat excitement and fun for every member of the family.

Magic Planet, which is managed by Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, is already operating successfully in the UAE, Egypt, and Oman, and it aims to become a signature attraction at Bahrain City Centre.

Silvio Liedtke, General Manager of Magic Planet, said: "We have a rich heritage in successfully creating some of the finest entertainment experiences, and engaging our visitors with innovative concepts. Magic Planet is a success story across the region, and I am confident that the Bahrain franchise will further extend the wide choice of entertainment options at the City Centre, and will further encourage visitors to keep returning."

In the spirit of Bahrain City Centre's ambition to create distinctive and unique offerings, Magic Planet has brought to Bahrain a brand-new attraction called Foam Factory.

This is a unique, custom designed Interactive BallPlay attraction that incorporates thousands of foam balls.

Participants can propel, throw, raise, vacuum, and dump 50,000 foam balls throughout the attraction providing hours of entertainment for families.

Among its many other features are sophisticated video-gaming consoles, the always popular bumper cars and pool and billiards tables.

Bahrain City Centre has dedicated 25,000 square metres of area for leisure and entertainment options for its visitors.

At present, Magic Planet covers 3,774 square metres of that area with a further 1,880 square meters being developed for a bowling, pool and billiards area that will be operational by December.

The City Centre will also include Middle East's first indoor-outdoor water park and a 20-screen Cineco Cineplex.
