Audi Abu Dhabi sponsors Etihad Airways Junior Rugby Festival

Audi Abu Dhabi, represented by Ali & Sons Co L.L.C. Motors Division, has further committed to supporting junior rugby in Abu Dhabi with sponsorship of the Etihad Airways Junior Rugby Festival as part of the Audi Sport Experience.

The festival runs through to November 15, 2008, and sees the Harlequins Rugby Club providing a series of coaching sessions to children from Abu Dhabi schools and a junior tournament on the weekend of the October 14 - 15 for over 1800 children from The Gulf, Europe, the Far East and Australia.

With its sponsorship, Audi Abu Dhabi will provide an Audi A6 saloon customised with the Abu Dhabi Harlequins Rugby Club Colors for transportation of international rugby stars, Nick Evens (NZ), Gary Botha (SA) and David Strettle (Eng.). The tournament village will incorporate several fun tournaments including a 20m kids sprint with the challenge to beat the Audi R8, a taste of the Audi Driving Experience with all the latest models on offer, as well as an Audi Lounge, where Abu Dhabi Harlequins Rugby Club members and Audi drivers will receive complimentary refreshments and a pitch side view of the action. As a final part of their support for the event, Audi Abu Dhabi will sponsor the 'Try of Tournament' in 10 different age categories by supplying trophies and Audi branded goodies to the winners

Audi Abu Dhabi is already a major sponsor of the Abu Dhabi Harlequins Rugby Club, an affiliate club of London Harlequins Rugby Club, for the 2008/2009 season.
