Ibrahim, who has worked for Marriott International for 27 years, joins from the JW Marriott Hotel in Dubai, where he held the position of general manager.
In 2005 he was a recipient of the company's prestigious leadership award for the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa region.
Prior to that Ibrahim was assigned as Director of Franchising, Food and Beverage for full service brands covering North America and Canada for Marriott International. "The foundation of a successful team lays in the communication of the companies' mission and vision and keeping them alive in every daily task."
