Touted as a "make-over for the hair," the thermo-fusion, or heat-activated, layered hair-care system is a personalized hair-care service that nourishes hair fibers, controls frizz and enhances shine and movement.

In its continuing effort to offer the most exclusive and cutting-edge beauty treatments and services, the new Kerathermie Ritual was acquired by The Diplomatic Club Beauty Center to appeal to clients requiring thermal hair reconstruction or simply those wanting to restore their hair's vitality and texture, as the desert sun and weather, stress, pollution and chemical products have taken a toll on hair's health.

Ideally applied once every four to six weeks, the Kerathermie Ritual is not a chemical process, but an innovative system of distinctive nourishing, deep moisturizing and strenthening treatments activated via heat in a salon setting.

Inspired by a radical Brazilian hair renewal treatment, Kerastase's Kerathermie Ritual is a 1-1/2 hour progression of layered treatments utilizing heat to intensify the moisturization, strengthening, and repair results.

The process begins with a hair type-appropriate shampoo and the application of a concentrate that fills in the uneven portions of the hair strand.

A moisturizing treatment is then applied and hair is blown dry until damp.

Heat is applied to damp hair in the form of heat tongs or a straightening iron set to 180 degrees, an intensity only available through salons.

The hair is then moisturized with a masque and texturizer, then washed, blown dry and styled.
