SALSA Tex Mex Restaurant welcomes the 'Trio Aires of Cuba' band at the Doha Marriott's Restaurant Gallery

All three members of the 'Trio Aires of Cuba' have a long and interesting artistic trajectory. Having graduated from different schools of art in Cuba, they founded the trio in 2004 to blend their love of Cuban and other Latino music. Their unique sounds are influenced by the origins of Spanish and African music to create music for background and popular dances such as salsa, rumba, mambo, and cha-cha-cha.

The Trio have performed in well known hotels throughout Cuba. They have also performed for different vaudeville shows, radio and local television programs. In the 'Sauto', the Head Theater in Matanzas, the Trio performed for professional Latin and Salsa Dancers and have been part of major live shows like 'lma Cubaba'.

Since the beginning of October, they bring the diversity of the Latin culture straight to SALSA at the Doha Marriott Hotel. "We know our music will get all SALSA guests into the Latin spirit, as though they were walking in the streets of Cuba", states one member of the live band.

Specialty Mexican Chef Eduardo Cornish, from Puebla de los Angeles, Mexico, expresses very excitedly "Mexican cuisine is known for its intense and varied flavors, colorful decoration, and variety of spices. The music of Trio Aires de Cuba perfectly plays up with our specialties to provide an authentic and fun dining experience at SALSA."
