Orange Jordan wins three awards for enhancing performance

SAMENA Telecommunications Council has launched its first award ceremony during "Convergence to Jordan 2008" summit, naming Orange Jordan, the sole integrated telecom operator in the Kingdom, the recipient of three awards.

The three awards Orange has received come under the category 'Architect Award', which honors those who have introduced and implemented new technologies enhancing performance, and they are 'Best Fixed Broadband Operator', 'Best Enterprise Solution Application' whereas the third one is 'Best Fixed Line Operator'.

Upon receiving the awards, Mickael Ghossein, Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Telecom Group-Orange Jordan said:
"This is great honour for us as it further highlights the leading role we play, not only in Jordan, but also in the region as an integrated telecom operator that provides world class services and telecom solutions."


Ghossein underlined Orange's delight to be recognized with these awards by SAMENA, a renowned multi-continent telecom consortium that brings together members from leading organizations in the region.

According to Ghossein, these awards are the fruit of boundless hard efforts placed by Orange Jordan's employees to raise the bar of telecom solutions offered by Orange to meet global standards. They are also the fruit of the employees' strong belief in His Majesty's vision to make Jordan a regional telecom hub.

According to SAMENA's officials launching the awards for the first time comes to honour and celebrate leading companies that have been immensely successful in the telecommunication industry in the years 2007 and 2008 as well as honor the companies and representatives in recognition of their contribution to the SAMENA telecoms industry.
