Challenges ahead for Islamic banking

Bahrain is set to host top experts, government officials, regulators, shariah experts at the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions and World Bank Annual Conference 2008, which opens on November 10. Ahead of the conference experts say regulations and supervision of the Islamic financial institutions are among the key challenges for industry players.
