Russell Iffland, Business faculty at Dubai Women's College said the visit had proved to be most valuable for the students and that it had shown them how companies like DAMAC Properties Dubai had become so successful. The girls are completing a project about DAMAC Properties for their Business project.
"The students found the meeting with Mr Riddoch most enlightening and they were very grateful to him in sparing the time to meet and chat to them about their project,' she said.
"The chance to talk directly with the CEO of the company they are featuring in their project was a great opportunity for them and they were most interested in the information he was able to give them.'
In addition to meeting Mr Riddoch, the girls also met Mr Wael Abu Adas, Senior Vice President of Projects - who will be arranging for the students to visit a construction site at a later date.
Mr Riddoch said:
"It is always a pleasure to meet young people who are studying to become the businessmen and women of the future. The group from Dubai Women's College were very knowledgeable about DAMAC Properties as a company and it was a pleasure to be able to help them with their project. I look forward to seeing the end results with interest and hope they will all go to have successful careers in the world of business world."
