The Exhibition included a multimedia presentation given by specialized trainee counselors to shed lights on the Training Diploma programs and courses offered by VTCDC. Attendees registered at any of the courses displayed during the exhibition, were granted a 15% scholarship on tuition fees. There was also a raffle draw on four full scholarships on ICDL and Advanced IDCL courses.
VTCDC offers twelve training programs including the Training Diploma in Networking & System Engineering, Programmable Logic Control (PLC), the Hospitality and Tourism Management, Higher Executive Secretary, in addition to the one-year Training Diploma in Decoration and Interior Design Art, and many more.
Touched by the youthful, educational spirit of the Exhibition, the Executive Director of Al Quds College, Mrs. Faten Abdel Hamid said, "We are proud to be part of the 12th Annual Jordan Education and Training Exhibition. Our College offers training programs that prepare the youth to face the challenges they are to encounter in their future careers. VTCDC aims to meet all market requirements, as the Center has a team of specialized student counselors willing to offer guidance and advice to students".
Mrs. Abdel Hamid also added:
"Our center is a leading training center in the market which offers programs that, eventually, provide career opportunities that fit the capabilities of trainees in all fields. We have made very strong efforts to arm those young people with the skills necessary to combat the future challenges. It is our duty to create educated, aware and self-reliant youth, to ensure a vibrant future career for them."
The VTCDC currently has 310 trainees. Since 1999, the Center graduated 4500 people, sourcing out career opportunities for 82% of them.
