According to this agreement, NAS will provide Delta Air Lines with Passenger Services, Line Maintenance, Cargo Services, Security Services and Ramp Handling in addition to serving as a General Sales Agent for Cargo at the Kuwait International Airport.

The strategic agreement was signed by Mr. Frank Jahangir, Delta's Vice President Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa and Mr. Naji Al-Ajmi, Chief Executive Officer of NAS.

Delta Air Lines will initially be operating four flights a week between Kuwait International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the State of Georgia, USA.

Delta will be using their fleet of Boeing 777's to operate this route.

Delta Air Lines and its Northwest subsidiary operate service to more destinations than any global airline offering flights to 375 destinations in 66 countries and serve more than 170 million passengers each year.

Delta Air Lines will also offer its cargo customers the opportunity to send cargo to the US and customers will then be able to forward their shipments to a host of destinations within the country.

Additionally NAS will also be providing Delta with Maintenance Certification of Aircraft at the NAS Engineering Facility located at the KIA.

"Delta Air Lines is an award winning airline and has the highest standards of quality and safety" quoted Mr. Naji Al-Ajmi CEO of NAS. "We are also handling Delta Air Lines as a ground handler at the Kuwait International Airport and are aware of their heightened service levels and I'm sure they in turn are cognizant of our quality service delivery."
he added.

"Being a young ground handling company in Kuwait has certainly not deterred us from expecting a global standard from ourselves. It is our track record of quality services provided on-time that has made us the region's leading ground handling company." added Naji Al-Ajmi.

"NAS is rapidly establishing a client base that includes the world's top airlines" commented Bruce Richterkessing, Operations Director of National Aviation Services.

"Delta Air Lines is one of the largest airlines in the world. There is a huge demand for traffic between Kuwait International Airport and Atlanta as JFK and Washington are becoming increasingly busy. Delta's presence here will certainly help ease travel to the USA and provide more options for travelers."
he opined.
