JorAMCo collects the AVEX's " MRO MENA Company of the Year " award

The event was hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Aviation and was held on the opening day of AVEX Air Show and Aviation Expo in Sharm El Sheikh last Wednesday, AVEX is a unique four day event focusing purely on aviation business in the Mena region.

The nomination of JorAMCo for the award came as a result of the rigorous and continuous growth and expansion policy that JorAMCo has perused over the last three years, focusing on growth in the size of the facility (hangars and shops), manpower requirements, maintenance capabilities and certifications, IT technologies and an Academy ensuring that high caliber technicians and engineers are trained to provide a service at its highest level.

JorAMCo tracing its roots to 1963, when it was Royal Jordanian's Maintenance and Engineering Department, Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Ltd.

JorAMCo is approved by several international authorities, including the European EASA and US FAA, with capabilities covering all levels of aircraft maintenance.

The company serves several airlines in the Middle East, Europe and Asia from its 30,000 sqm hangar facility in Amman - Jordan.

JorAMCo is majority-owned by Dubai-based Abraaj Capital, the premier investment firm specializing in private equity investment the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
