Qatar to have health promotion board

According to the National Health Authority (NHA), Qatar is planning to set up a health promotion board, based on the Singapore model. The objective of the board is to promote public health with the support and involvement of various sections of the society. A senior NHA official said they were seeking assistance from the Singapore board to set up a similar facility in Qatar.
