During this project for FAL Energy, the company has built 8 storage tanks 4 of which are 30mtr dia X 17mtr ht and 2 of 20mtr dia X 17mtr ht. The tanks have been constructed to the highest quality levels and complied with API 650. The storage terminal built on EPC basis includes 3 marine and truck loading arms, pipelines-above ground and underground of approx. 4 Km & 1 km respectively, pipe racks, hot oil unit, in line blenders, oily water separator, flow control and monitoring systems and the entire substation, control room and administration building.
The HT power was allocated from one of DEWA substations and the electrical works was in compliance with the local requirements of DEWA. The entire facility including civil and structural works was designed as per the latest regulations, codes and standards. The value of the project is over Dhs90m. The project commenced in January last year and major work concluded in May 2008 with the statutory approvals done last week.
