The exhibition had exhibitors from around the world from all the sectors of the travel value chain, and Asia-Pacific's leading companies and emerging small and medium sized enterprises.

DTCM's modest sized but attractive stand was one of the most frequented by visitors. The DTCM team which was led by Mr. Nayef Ibrahim, Senior Executive Overseas Promotions and the co-participants were very pleased with the outcome of the exhibition.

A whopping 400% increase of Singaporean hotel visitors in Dubai since 2004 and the Dubai Trade Value increase from Dhs2,355,014 in 2003 to Dhs3,763,403 in 2007 are factors that encouraged Dubai to participate in the ITB Asia 2008 for the first time.

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is dedicated to increase the number of visitors through various promotions, online services, exhibitions and road-shows in the region and around the world.
