DIBS 2009, now in its 17th edition, will take place from 3-7 March and will see a 25% increase from last year's show with new exclusive features including the Superyacht Club.
Renowned for being the largest marine event ever held in the Middle East, DIBS 2008 welcomed 27,420 visitors and showcased over 800 international and regional companies, each representing a 12% increase over the previous edition.
Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre, organiser of DIBS 2008, said:

DIBS 2009 will feature four key areas: Equipment Supplies and Services Area, Luxury Supplies and Services Area, External Area, and Marina Display Area.
Dive Middle East Exhibition (DMEX) will once again co-locate with DIBS 2009, offering a unique platform showcasing the very latest in diving equipment, supplies, services and techniques.
DIBS 2009 also will host the fifth Gulf Boating Conference, where industry professionals from across the region can come together, exchange information and network with their peers. The Dubai International Boat Show 2009 takes place at Dubai International Marine Club - Mina Seyahi from 3-7 March 2009.
DIBS is open to trade visitors and general public, from 3pm - 9.30pm daily. Visitors without an invitation must pay an entrance fee of Dhs40 per person. Children under 12 will be admitted free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Access to the Marina Display Area may be restricted at certain times.
