Jaguar Bahrain emulates world wide success

Sales of Jaguar in Bahrain have increased in line with the rest of the world, it was announced yesterday, with Mohammed Jalal & Sons (MJS), Automotive Division reporting a record year by more than doubling the sales result of the year 2001 and showing a 64% increase on sales, for 2002.
The UK-based premium car manufacturer announced in October 2002 that it surpassed 2001's record-breaking 100,000 sales figure. 2002 proved to be the fifth successive record-breaking sales year for Jaguar.
"The introduction in Bahrain of the S Type and X Type models has been very successful for Jaguar allowing more people to benefit from the thrill of owning this prestigious marque. At the same time Jaguar has developed the all new Aluminum body XJ8 which will be launched in April/ May this year," commented Mr. John Murray, the General Manager of MJS.
"This amazing sales record reflects the popularity of Jaguar as reliable, affordable and value for money. The MJS team has also been working really hard in order to offer excellence in customer service, which has been highly praised by the new car owners. It is a combination of all these things which explains the success of Jaguar today in Bahrain", said Mr. John Murray.
The automotive division of Mohammed Jalal and Sons was established in 1964 and holds the franchise for Jaguar, Peugeot, Suzuki and Subaru. The company has a full service department and body shop for all brands of vehicles and a comprehensive spare parts division located in Al Khamis.
