Safety & Security Week workshops & awareness courses launched at the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Dubai

Starwood global Safety & Security week kicked off at the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Dubai yesterday to see different activities, workshops and team work initiatives related to Safety, Security, environment & Health Awareness.

The week was launched by officials from Dubai Municipality with a brief emphasizing on the importance of safety & security awareness and environment protection in work place.

Right after, the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown team, all wearing the event's branded t-shirts "It's our home, let's preserve it", headed to the hotel front yard to plant four fresh tress as symbol of life, hope and environment protection gesture.

Activities during the week included different workshops presented by representatives form Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, Safety & fire protection organizations.

A blood pressure test morning & awareness on HIV disease transmission awareness were also in the program and presented by the hotel Nurse, RIZZA.

All activities ended in a simple family team gathering at the staff restaurant "The Nations".

A thank you speech was given by Mr. Kaleem Ghouri, the hotel Director of Engineering and the best creative poster on the event and designed by the associates was awarded by the General Manager, Mr. Erik Vedsegaard.
