Kraze sponsors new talent at Media and Marketing Show

Kiran, owner of the shop actively seeks out and supports people who, while not directly involved in fashion, still play a part in the industry.

Dubai's recent Media and Marketing Show saw up-and-coming photographer Amreen Khan being sponsored by Kiran as she exhibited a small example of her, showcasing her scope and range in the hope of kick starting a career as Dubai's hottest young fashion photographer.

"The basic concept of Kraze is to provide a platform for new up-and-coming talent and sponsoring a photographer, especially such a talented photographer like Amreen who is looking to break into fashion, is an extension of that," says Kiran.

With Kiran's help, Amreen has been able to showcase an exhibit of 15 pieces at the Dubai Media and Marketing Show, where two years ago as a student she was first discovered.

"I had a lot of luck here previously as it was this event which got me started in the market... I wanted to come back as this is the main media event for the region and the ideal place to try to make my crossover into fashion," says the 23-year-old who graduated from AUD University last year. "Kiran has been amazing in helping me get this exhibition together and she basically gave me a free reign on her store where I was able to pick out me accessories and 'look' for the fashion shots I'm using."

The Dubai Media and Marketing Show is one of the 'world's leading must-attend, networking and educational resource platforms for media and marketing professionals. In addition, it is the only show of its kind in the region.

Overall Amreen says she had a lot of interest in her exhibit and made promising contacts within Dubai's fashion media.
