- PRESS RELEASE
Responding to high student and industry demand to provide students with specialized skills in key Business areas, Dubai Women's College (DWC) launched Bachelor programs in Accounting, Human Resource Management and Real Estate Management.
One unique aspect of the program delivery at the college is that students work during the day and study in the evening giving them an excellent opportunity to immediately apply and contextualize their learning. Employers have been very supportive by allowing students to have travel and study time and contributing information to applied research projects. The new programs complement the existing Bachelor programs in General Business Management, Marketing Management and Financial Services Management.
The Real Estate Management program has been of particular interest to students who are excited about working in this dynamic field. "I am glad to be one of the first students who will graduate with a Bachelor in Real Estate Management. As it is a new major, I was curious about what I would learn. I am glad that I took the decision to challenge myself by majoring in Real Estate where I can contribute to the growing economy in Dubai. I really enjoy studying this major as it focuses on important facts and theories that we will implement in real life," said Mai Juma Alnayadi, Real Estate Management student.
"DWC is proud to be able to provide advanced level training to Emirati women who will excel in key management roles to lead Dubai businesses into the future," noted Dr. Monica Gallant, Chair of Business Programs at the College.
