InfoGuard increases international presence with new Middle East operation

Swiss information security specialist InfoGuard AG, has strengthened its presence in the Middle East region with a new office in Dubai's Internet City.

The new regional headquarters is part of an international expansion strategy, which has also added InfoGuard offices in London and Frankfurt over the last two years.

The new offices will be run by Martin Leuthold, Head of Middle East Operations for InfoGuard and are the culmination of a number of large scale projects and consultancy work carried out by InfoGuard for clients within the region over the last year, "By opening this new branch, after London and Frankfurt, InfoGuard takes the next logical step in its expansion strategy, placing Dubai at the centre of its activities throughout the Arabian peninsula." explains Thomas Meier, InfoGuard AG's managing director.

The new InfoGuard office is located within Dubai Internet City and joins a dynamic international community of ICT companies including global giants like Microsoft, Cisco Systems, IBM, HP, Dell, Siemens, Sun Microsystems, Computer Associates, PeopleSoft and Sony Ericsson.

InfoGuard provides a wide range of high performance encryption appliances all designed in accordance with the EAL3 Common Criteria Security Standard and FIPS 140-2 Level 3 requirements. Its flagship, InfoGuard's MG10 Multilink Encryption product uses AES 256 to simultaneously cipher data across ten different signals via CWDM, DWDM, Dark Fibre or SDH networks. InfoGuard's customer base includes institutions in the public sector, chemical, telecom and manufacturing industries as well as insurance companies and banks, among them illustrious names such as ABN Amro, Credit Suisse, Hoffmann-La Roche and Allianz Suisse.
