Ahli United Bank - Egypt announced its financial results for the first 9 months of 2008 ending September 30th.
Total assets increased by 15.6% to LE6.7bn and loans to customers grew by 43.7 % to LE3.6bn.
"The third quarter numbers demonstrate the resiliency and effectiveness of our business model in what is becoming an increasingly difficult market. With our tight focus on executing our strategy and our solid and conservative Balance Sheet with a strong capital base, the Bank is well placed to continue to progress in this more challenging environment," stated Mr. James Goold, CEO and Managing Director of Ahli United Bank (Egypt).
