MASTECH, International Maritime Conference and Techno Maritime Awards

MASTECH 2008 is a two day International Maritime Conference on Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding. The event is organized by MAST - the Middle East Alumni of Ship Technology passed out from the Dept. of Ship Technology, Cochin University of Science & Technology. MASTECH 2008 is supported by Marine BizTV; the world's first global maritime television channel and supported by BizTV Events; the concepts division of Marine BizTV.

Scheduled for two days, 12th & 13th November 2008 at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Dubai, the Conference will have 24 international paper presentations from the leading players of the industry. MASTECH will be an excellent opportunity to hear from the leading technical experts from the maritime industry world wide. The two day event provides an unprecedented opportunity to exchange information, showcase the latest technical innovations and take stock of trends and issues at the heart of future strategies.

The maritime digital show, MASTECH Digi Show, that showcases the latest technology and trends in the shipbuilding industry, will also be held along with the conference. MASTECH 2008 is the first exhibition in the world which has the concept of Digi Show.

The biggest attraction of MASTECH will be the live streaming of its conference sessions. The conference will witness over 250 renowned maritime professionals from the maritime industry and Marine Biz TV will update the conference sessions with its live telecasting facility. MASTECH 2008 is organized in connection with the 25th Anniversary celebration of MAST. To commemorate this milestone, Techno Maritime Awards 2008 will make its appearance on the 13th of November 2008. The Award Nite will honor the yeoman service towards the UAE Maritime Industry.
