Dubai Metro fare machine testing to begin

The Testing of the Automatic Fare Collection System for the Dubai Metro project will begin before the new year. The AFC equipment essentially includes the ticket vending machine, ticket office machine, portable checking machine and entry and exit gates. Currently, around 385 Fare Gates have been delivered to Dubai while 159 ticket vending machines, 151 ticket office machines and 40 portable checking machines have been ordered for the Metro project.
