Golinharris introduces novel management model to the region
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, November 13 - 2008 at 12:34
GolinHarris Mena, the regional arm of Chicago-headquartered GolinHarris International, which operates 31 wholly-owned offices worldwide, has appointed George Kotsolios and Mitchell Prather as Joint Managing Directors for the Agency's Dubai operations.
Gregory Tikhanoff, Regional Managing Director, GolinHarris, Middle East, said: "For a client service oriented industry like public relations, having two joint managing directors with diverse academic qualifications, cultural backgrounds and extensive international experience credentials adds tremendous value to clients who can rely on the continuity, cohesiveness and consistency this dual management proposition provides."
With 40 years of combined PR agency experience spread across three continents, Prather and Kotsolios were previously Senior Directors with GolinHarris.
Prather, 44, joined GolinHarris after working in Europe for 13 years and has more than 19 years overall of international communications experience with a focus on financial public relations and cross border communication programs. He has handled local, regional and international clients through all phases of their corporate development including initial public offerings, product or company launches, crisis situations and ongoing corporate positioning. His experience also includes corporate branding, financial media relations, investor relations, issues management and media training.
Kotsolios, 41, joined GolinHarris from Action Global Communications and his General Manager position at the agency's Athens office. He brings with him three years of Dubai-based experience having previously worked as Account Director and New Business Development Director for MCS/Action. Kotsolios' PR experience began in 1994 soon after a two-year stint as a London-based journalist for The European newspaper.
