The award underlined AIM's excellent achievements in the IT distribution sector, where it has leapfrogged this year to the circle of five top distributors in the region, up from 11th place in the previous year. AIM has also been the premier HP distributor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the company has sold over 50,000 PCs in the third quarter of 2008.

As a preferred authorised distributor for reputable brands, AIM employs up to 55 full-time employees to facilitate its operations in the Kingdom, and its annual sales revenue is around SR1bn.
