Fantastic DSF benefits from Dubai Bank

  • United Arab Emirates: Saturday, January 25 - 2003 at 11:58
  • PRESS RELEASE

To ensure that its customers avail of the best deals this DSF, Dubai Bank is highlighting its Easy Purchase Plan for its Visa credit cardholders.

The scheme allows customers to make on the spot purchases with repayments in convenient, low interest instalments for up to 24 months.

Mr. Ricky Madan, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Dubai Bank said: "This facility is designed so that our customers get the very best from the Dubai Shopping Festival. By allowing cardholders to spread payments up to 24 months, we are providing access to the very best that DSF has to offer. Offering such unrivalled purchase benefits at competitive prices to our customers are just some of the benefits of owning a Dubai Bank credit card."

By making a call to the bank, the customer gains immediate access to the facility. The Plan works like a loan but comes without the hassle of documentation such as form filling or having to provide the bank with any collateral.

The card can be used for purchases from jewellery, furniture and furnishings to household appliances and electronics. Interest is then charged at less than half the standard interest rate.

"This is a great opportunity for our cardholders to spread their payments with extremely low interest attached. This is a differentiated product, which will help the bank carve a niche in a highly competitive market. Although this facility is available through out the year we feel that it is relevant to highlight this fantastic benefit at this time," continued Mr. Madan.

In addition to providing differentiated shopping benefits for its customers, Dubai Bank has also joined forces with Jashanmal for another innovative promotion. All DSF shoppers have been given the opportunity to win AED 250,000 worth of pre-loaded Visa credit cards in a series of lucky draws. The promotion, which began on January 15 will run for the duration of DSF, with four lucky winners scooping the cards.

This is the first time that a credit card issuing bank has launched a pre-loaded credit card promotion in the UAE. Three winners stand to win AED 50,000 each in a series of weekly draws, while the jackpot winner will stand to win AED 100,000. The amount will be paid in the form of pre-loaded Visa credit card offered by Dubai Bank.

The AED 50,000 weekly draws will be held on January 23, 30 and February 8, while the grand prize draw of AED 100,000 will take place on February 16, 2003.
