Bahrain Islamic Bank gold sponsor of the annual conference of Islamic Banking and Finance for the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions

As part of its gold sponsorship of the Conference, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIsB) will participate in this event through a number of its senior executives led by the Bank's Chief Executive officer Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed who has praised the significant role played by AAOFIFI in organizing such events that are advantageous to banking and financial institutions.

Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim further said BIsB is always proud of supporting and participating in this prestigious conference that will bring together an elite of leading Sharia'a scholars and experts in the Islamic banking industry.

BIsB Chief Executive added the Conference will discuss a number of key topics that include the consistency of Sharia'a rules, their regulation and supervision, international accounting standards and potential conflict with Sharia'a rules, debt trading between legitimacy and actual reality and such other vital topics.

Mohamed Ebrahim went on to say that the Bank would continue to support the Conference and participate in it in the coming years.

He urged the general public and all the participants to visit BIsB stand at the Conference to familiarize themselves with the Bank's activities and products in addition to the banking services provided to its customers.

Bahrain Islamic Bank has always taken part in the events and programmes orgainsed by AAOFIFI in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This move by the Bank is a demonstration of its concern with Sharia'a related issues, legislation governing its investments and banking operations and all developments affecting the banking and finance industry.
