The "Safir" Marina Hotel boosts management team with senior appointments

The "Safir" Marina Hotel announces the appointment of two senior professionals and promotion of two dedicated employees to further strengthen the hotels position as The Best Performed Hotel Worldwide.

The appointment and promotions are inline with the hotel's strategy to continue to raise its hospitality standards and growth by taking on skilled professionals to achieve the best possible results.

Mr. Mario Basil joins as the Food and Beverage Manager, Mr. Oussama Al Mufti joins as HR Manager, Mr. Georges Saade promoted as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and Mr. Maher Assad promoted as the Executive Chef.

Commenting on the new appointments, Mr Antoine Naoum, General Manager, "Safir" Marina Hotel said:

With over 20 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry and specialized certificates in Hotel Management, Mario brings along with him a unique mix of experience which will positively add to the Marina Hotel and its guests. Prior to joining The "Safir" Marina Hotel, Mario held several important F&B positions in various leading hotels in Lebanon, UAE, Greece and Italy.

Oussama Al Mufti has been appointed to oversee the HR front. Brought in from M.M.C Catering Company, Oussama has 13 years experience in the industry and has built relations with highly ranked customers and entities over the years in Kuwait in particular.

Armed with more than 16 years of F&B experience, 14 of which are local, Maher Assad is promoted as the new Executive Chef. In addition to his expertise in the Hospitality Industry Maher has developed a number of other skills including communicating, management, administration and training skills.

Georges Saade promoted as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager he brings along 13 years of hotel experience. Throughout his career, George has worked with various hotels in Kuwait, Lebanon and France. He has been with the "Safir" Marina Hotel since 2005.
