- PRESS RELEASE
Eight women students from the College of Engineering in the Department of Architectural Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) have visited Munich, Germany, to attend a workshop on the theme of 'Luxury Living.'
Accompanying the students were faculty members Michael Schwarz, workshop organizer and Coordinator of AUST International Academic Relations for Europe and China, and Ms. Sahar Makky. The workshop examined topics connected with the multicultural aspect of Munich, a city visited each year by large numbers of people from GCC countries.
Proposals developed by the students were presented to a jury, which included TUM faculty members and guests, who were particularly impressed by the work of the AUST participants. At the conclusion of the workshop, each student received a certificate of appreciation from Professor Institute Chair Peter Ebner.
