German orthopaedic hospital to open in 2009

A German Orthopaedic Hospital in Bahrain is expected to be operational during the first half of 2009. The hospital aims to offer first-class orthopaedic and rehabilitation medical services and will initially focus on surgical and conservative orthopaedics, sports medicine, internal medicine, radiology and pain therapy. The core medical team will be made up of German doctors and specialists in orthopaedics, surgery, anaesthesia and physiotherapy.
